BizGlimpse is a dedicated website that highlights and supports local small businesses in the Lower East Side. The goal of the project was to design a digital space that makes it easy for users to discover neighborhood restaurants, cafés, shops, and bars, all found in one well-organized, visually engaging directory. I coded this website using HTML & CSS on Visual Studio Code.
I began by developing the brand direction through multiple moodboards focused on typography, logos, interface design, and color palette. These visual references helped shape the identity of the site and informed the creation of a cohesive style guide, featuring a soft, modern color palette and clean type pairings to match the approachable tone of the platform.
Logo Exploration
With the visual identity in place, I designed detailed wireframes for the BizGlimpse website, mapping out the structure of pages, navigation, and content flow. Each section of the site was planned to ensure smooth browsing across business categories so users can easily find what they’re looking for.
